On April 29, two Ginkgo trees were planted near Jeannie Bird’s Bakery, in honor of both Arbor Day and Jeannie Vogel, who passed away unexpectedly a in February. In attendance were a number of members of the community, including City Arborist Eric Schlitzer and Chairman of the Westminster Tree Commission Steve Allgeier. Bernie Vogel, along with his two daughters, Meredith and Audrey, helped plant the trees in honor of their late wife/mother.
